A wild animal attacks Sasan’s pregnant mother. The villagers believe that if a wild animal attacks a pregnant woman, all the inhabitants of the village will be infected with rabies. The only way to save everyone, they say, is to kill the animal. Sasan wants to avenge her mother and protect the whole village. But he realizes that forgiveness is better than taking revenge. The animals attack their prey out of hunger and instinct. Yet they are wise and emotional creatures, and humans should forgive them.
